Illegal Dumping

Abbeyleix Bog Restoration Project were appaled at the huge scale dumping at the entrances to the bog in Abbeyleix.

The Bog is an amazing facility to have on the edge of town. The dumping has caused a lot of extra work for two committee members Gary & Ross who had to spend many hours knee deep in bog drains lifting out bags of rubbish, It is inconceivable that people would actually load their car and drive into the bog to dump their rubbish. Dumpers be aware you are being watched.
