The children from Jelly's Tots Playschool became the youngest members of the local GIY Group. Margaret Jacob, founder member of Abbeyleix GIY paid a visit to the playschool and explained to the children how they could grow their own vegetables using recycled producte such as you yougurt cartons ,and toilet roll holders to plant seeds the children were so enthustactic. Margaret suggested they such be encouraged to expand, this week they secured a small allotment which will allow them to grow their own vegetables.
