We hosted a leaf mould training session by the Irish Peatland Community Garden in December (the Community Garden again – it all happens here!) and were inspired by this to set up own our leaf mould project. 

The idea is simple – harvest this wonderful annual crop of leaves (which can otherwise be seen as a waste product to get rid of) and pile it up until it breaks down. We collected significant quantities of leaves this year and made a collection area adjacent to the tennis courts.
