The purple crocus bulb planted symbolises the purple dye painted on the little fingers of the children when they have been vaccinated.
The  bulbs flower each  February when Rotary celebrates it birthday. because of the severe weather conditions last year the bulbs were only planted on February 23rd 2011. The children were delighted that the crocus appeared two weeks later
